Gaziantep SANKO Mosque

The foundation of Gaziantep SANKO Mosque, which is located on a land area of 81,442 m², was laid in 2021 and its construction still continues. It is a mosque project with a total sitting area of 20 thousand 600 square meters and a garden of 10 thousand square meters, allowing 30 thousand people to worship. With a dome height of 120 meters and a width of 82 meters, Gaziantep SANKO Mosque claims to be the largest in the world in terms of dome diameter and interior volume height. It has 4 minarets, each having a height of 164 meters. These suggest that it is aimed to make it an outstanding spot in the city in terms of scale, proportion and context, and fit with a city like Gaziantep, which has an architectural culture with its own identity, with such a size.

Sani Konukoğlu Mosque

The Sani Konukoglu Mosque was built on a land of 12.000 m2 with 4 storeys on an area of 1200 m2 area in Gaziantep Organized Industrial Zone (OSB), which is one of the most important industrial centres in Turkey, the heart of economy in Gaziantep and the major place of employment, and was opened for worship in 2001. 3500 people can worship at the same time in the mosque, which has a dome with a diameter of 8 meters, 2 minarets of 40 meters, a fountain, and a lodging.

Adil Sani Konukoğlu Mosque

The foundation of Adil Sani Konukoglu Mosque was laid in 2003 in Osmangazi District, one of the new residential areas in Gaziantep, for helping the residents of the district to worship easily, and it was built on an area of 250 square meters on a land of 500 square meters. With a single minaret of 45-meter-high and a dome with a diameter of 10 meters, the two-storey mosque, which was opened for worship in 2007 and where 1000 people can worship, has a lodging and a fountain.

İnci Konukoğlu Mosque

The foundation of Inci Konukoglu Mosque was laid in August 2015 in Sehitkamil Osmangazi District, and it was opened to worship on December 25, 2015 with a ceremony attended by Prof. Dr. Mehmet Goremez, the President of Religious Affairs. The dome diameter of the mosque, which was built on an area of 776 m2 and has a usage area of 1963 m2, is 12.5 meters, and 2000 people can worship. The mosque has two minarets with a height of 42 meters, and two lodgings.

Emine Konukoğlu Mosque

The foundation of Emine Konukoglu Mosque was laid in 2013 in Karatas District of Gaziantep, and it was opened for worship in 2014. The dome diameter of the mosque, which was built on an area of 752 m2 and has a usage area of 1654 m2, is 12.5 meters and 1500 people can worship. The mosque has 2 minarets with a height of 42 meters, and a condolence house.

Zekeriya Konukoğlu Mosque

Zekeriya Konukoglu Mosque was opened for worship in 1994 among residences and workplaces Gazikent district of Gaziantep, and built on an area of 1232 m2 on a land of 11297 m2. 2000 people can worship in Zekeriya Konukoglu Mosque. It has 2 minarets with a height of 40 meters, a dome with a diameter of 12 meters, 2 lodgings, and a fountain.

Hacı Firdevs Konukoğlu Mosque

The foundation of Inci Konukoglu Mosque was laid in 2012 in Oguzeli District of Gaziantep and, it was opened for worship on March 15, 2013 with a ceremony attended by Prof. Dr. Mehmet Goremez, the President of Religious Affairs. The dome diameter of the mosque, which was built on an area of 752 m2 and has a usage area of 1654 m2, is 12.5 meters and 1800 people can worship. The mosque has 2 minarets with a height of 42 meters, and a condolence house.

Abdulkadir Konukoğlu Mosque

The foundation of Abdulkadir Konukoglu Mosque was laid on May 13, 2015 in Mavikent, the new residential area in Sahinbey Industrial Site, Gaziantep, and it was built on an area of 732 m2. The dome diameter of the mosque, which was opened for worship on May 20, 2016 and has a usage area of 1801 m2, is 12.5 meters and 1800 people can worship. The mosque has two minarets with a height of 42 meters.

İnegöl Sani Konukoğlu Mosque

Established the largest denim factory in the world with its production capacity and quality under the brand Isko in Inegol district of Bursa, SANKO built the Sani Konukoglu Mosque with a dome diameter of 20 meters on an area of 700 m2 in the district square, which draws attention with its aesthetic interior and exterior architecture. 2500 people in total can worship in the mosque, which has a usage area of 1400 m2 and a minaret with a height of 36 meters, as well as a fountain and 2 lodgings, and was opened for worship on December 21,1999.

Abdulkadir Konukoğlu Central Mosque

Built the Sanibey Dam and Hydroelectric Power Plant between Aladag and Imamoglu districts of Adana, SANKO Holding has also built a mosque in the region by taking into consideration meeting the demands of the local people with its awareness towards social responsibility. The foundation of Abdulkadir Konukoglu Central Mosque, which was opened for worship on December 1, 2009 with a usage area of 1100 m2, 2 minarets of 47 meters in height and a dome with a diameter of 12 meters and enables 1800 people to worship, was laid on March 1, 2009.

Aladağ Eğner Village Mosque

The foundation of the mosque, which was built on an area of 146 m2 in Aladag District in Egner Village with one minaret of 24 meters, was laid in December 2008. The mosque has 1 lodging and a dome diameter of 9 meters, and it was opened for worship on May 22, 2009.

Aladağ Çakırlar Village Masjid

The foundation of the masjid was laid in May 2009 in Aladag District, Cakirlar Village, Adana, The masjid was opened for worship in August 2009 and has a usage area of 75 m2 on an area of 80 m2 area.

Sani Konukoğlu Theology Masjid

The foundation of Sani Konukoglu Faculty of Theology was laid in Gaziantep University campus in April 2012 by Prof. Dr. Mehmet Gormez, the President of Religious Affairs, and it was built on a total area of 8400 m2 with 5 storeys. The Sani Konukoglu Faculty of Theology building, which is referred to as a “Project with an Identity” for its distinctive and unique architecture, was opened with a ceremony by the President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on March 7, 2015.

Sani Konukoglu Faculty of Theology consists of 30 classrooms and administrative sciences, and it is a 2-storey mosque where 250 people can worship.

İbrahim Erpamukçu Mosque

The foundation of Ibrahim Erpamukcu Mosque was laid on April 18, 2016 in Akkent District, one of the new residential areas in Sahinbey in Merkez District, and it was built on an area of 702 m2. The mosque has a usage area of 1818 m2. With a dome diameter of 12.5 meters, the mosque has 2 minarets with a height of 42 meters and a condolence house. 1500 people can worship in the mosque and its construction was completed in 2017.

Ülgan Konukoğlu Mosque

Ulgan Konukoglu Mosque was built on an area of 818 m2 in the Emek District of the central district Sehitkamil and has a usage area of 2157 m2. The mosque has a dome with a diameter of 15.5 meters, 2 minarets of 46 meters, and 2 lodgings. 2000 people can worship in the mosque and its construction was completed in 2016.

İslahiye Abdulkadir Konukoğlu Mosque

The construction of Hacı Sani Konukoglu Mosque was started in Islahiye District of Gaziantep on an area of 2889 m2 in 2019. Built next to Sani Konukoglu Imam Hatip Anatolian High School, the mosque has a usage area of 1300 m2. The mosque has a dome with a diameter of 15.5 meters, 2 minarets of 42 meters, and 2 lodgings. 1400 people can worship in the mosque and its construction was completed in 2021.

Hatice Konukoğlu Mosque

The foundation of Hatice Konukoglu Mosque was laid in 2017 in Emek District of the central district Sehitkamil and it has a usage area of 980m2. The mosque has a dome with a diameter of 15 meters, 1 minaret of 34 meters, and 1 lodging. 1200 people can worship in the mosque and its construction was completed in 2019.
